Cinnamon-Raisin Toast with Cheddar and Apple

Toast is still happening, and if you’re not on the train already its time to jump on. This hot and crunchy breakfast standby, is now decked out with sweet and savory toppings. Cinnamon-Raisin Toast with Cheddar and Apple is far from boring, so put the butter away – and put something new on your toast. Sweet cinnamon-raisin toast is topped with freshly shaven sharp cheddar cheese and thinly sliced tart Granny Smith apples. Who said breakfast had to be boring? It’s time to add a tasty crunch to your morning breakfast.

Any breakfast that I can make in a little over 5 minutes and that doesn’t sacrifice flavor, is a keeper in my recipe book. Although I would consider myself a breakfast fanatic, complicated breakfast recipes should be reserved for the weekend. This simple, three ingredient breakfast packs so much flavor you won’t be thinking you’re sacrificing anything. It’s easy to get into the breakfast rut, especially during the summer months. That’s where toast comes in, and with it’s never ending list of different toppings, you’re sure to break out of that breakfast rut in no time.
