What other time than the months leading up to your wedding can you walk into a department store and indulge your whims without worrying about what it will do to your bank account? More than just the ultimate shopping trip, setting up a registry is an efficient way to let guests know which items you want to start your life together. A registry also keeps track of who bought what (in case a card goes missing from a gift) and reduces the chance of receiving duplicate presents. Calphalon® Premier™ Space Saving Cookware Set is an absolute must have item to add to your wedding registry list. This clever design allows stacking and nesting in any order to save 30% more space than like non-stacking Calphalon® Cookware items when stacked with like diameter Premier™ Space Saving items.

I’ve always been a fan of Calphalon® because of their high quality products. These pans have sturdy stainless steel handles, are oven safe up to 450 degrees F, and the metal is utensil safe and has a non-stick cooking surface for easy food release and quick cleanup.

If you aren’t a bride, but looking to give a fabulous gift this wedding season, these stackable pots and pans are the gift to give. To make the gift a little more personal, I include one of my favorite family recipes on top of the gift after wrapping it. You can include as many recipes as you want, and it’s a great way to add a personal touch to the gift. My go-to recipe is always my Nantucket Shellfish Pasta recipe. This tasty dish includes shrimp, scallops, muscles and clams cooked in a garlic butter sauce. It’s simple enough for the most novice chefs, and a great recipe to make as a newlywed. I’ll include it below so you can make it as well.

This pot and pan set is one that the bride and groom will treasure for years due to the item being durable and reliable. The excellent craftmanship and design gives you a heavy, sturdy pan which makes for a perfect cooking tool. A huge plus is they stack with ease, so their cabinets will also stay organized! It’s the gift that keeps on giving!

Cook Time

30 mins

Total Time

45 mins

Ingredients

1 pound linguini pasta

4 tablespoons butter

4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling

2 shallots, finely diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

Pinch red pepper flakes, optional

Juice of 1 lemon

1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

1/2 bay scallops

12 clams

12 muscles

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

1/4 cup finely chopped parsley leaves

Instructions

1. For the pasta, put a large pot of water on the stove to boil. When it has come to the boil, add a couple of tablespoons of salt to the linguini. Stir to make sure the pasta separates; cover. When the water returns to a boil, cook for about 6 to 8 minutes or until the pasta is not quite done. Drain the pasta.

2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter in 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium-high heat. Saute the shallots, garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using) until the shallots are translucent, about 3 to 4 minutes. Add the mussels and clams to the sauce. Continue to cook until the shells start to open. Season the scallops and shrimp with salt and pepper; add them to the pan and cook until they have turned pink, about 2 to 3 minutes. Remove the shellfish and shrimp from the pan; set aside and keep warm. Add lemon juice and bring to a boil. Add 2 tablespoons butter and 2 tablespoons oil. When the butter has melted, return the shellfish to the pan along with the parsley and cooked pasta. Stir well and season with salt and pepper. Drizzle over a bit more olive oil and serve immediately.
