Strawberry Brie Bites

It’s December 28th and by now you probably already found the perfect LBD with just the right amount of sparkle. If you’re hosting a New Year’s Eve bash or headed to one, these Strawberry Brie Bites are the perfect snack to ring in 2015. Bite sized phyllo dough cups are filled with fresh brie, and topped with strawberry preserves. Looking for an easy to eat light bite that goes perfect with champagne? Look no further ladies… This holiday appetizer will brighten your traditional cheese board.


2 pkg. frozen mini phyllo pastry shells (30 shells)
1 8 oz. round Brie cheese
3 tablespoons of strawberry preserves

1. Heat oven to 350°F. Place pastry shells on ungreased large cookie sheet. Cut cheese into 1/2-inch cubes. Place 3 cheese cubes into each fillo shell. Bake at 350°F. for 10 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted.

2. Remove partially baked shells from oven. Spoon 1/4 teaspoon spreadable fruit over cheese in each shell. Top with a small strawberry wedge if desired. Serve warm.
