Shopping in Palm Beach

A few weeks ago I took a quick, 48 hour trip south to Palm Beach, Florida. Palm Beach is one of my favorite cities in Florida because of the lush foliage, historic architecture, fabulous shopping and restaurants. While I was there, I had the opportunity to visit the Palm Beach Outlets and get a jump start on my holiday shopping. It’s never too early to get a jump start on the holidays and I was able to pick up gifts for family and friends, as well as a few kitchen utensils for myself to help during those big holiday meals.

The first day at the Palm Beach Outlets, I visited kate spade new york, Polo Ralph Lauren, Perfumania, Le Creuset, Coach, Coton Frais, J Crew, and Bath and Body Works. All of the stores had great sales and promotions happening, which was great for my wallet!

kate spade new york

The kate spade new york store is brand new and fabulous. They had many wonderful deals… it almost seemed too go to be true! I picked up a pair of polka dot pijamas (perfect for Christmas morning) and a hunter green shoulder bag, which I plan to carry to all my holiday parties.

Polo Ralph Lauren

One of my favorite places to shop for the classics. Here I purchased a plaid flannel top, and a cream sweater. I was also able to pick up many holiday gifts for the men in my life. For my dad I found some great button down shirts and for my husband paul, a few new polo shirts.

Perfumania

I’ve never seen so many different perfumes all in one place! This store had any scent you could imagine and really something for everyone. I bought the Tommy Bahama perfume, which was light and beachy smelling. It reminded me of the tropics.

Le Creuset

My go-to shop for cookware. The quality here is always incredible and the cookware here is top-notch. I bought the mini cocotte bakeware and they are adorable. These will be perfect for my TV segment next week where I am making individual sized egg stratas.

Coach

The Coach store is another new store at the Palm Beach Outlets and they had some great winter accessories, all on sale. I found a great pair of leather boots that I will get a lot of use out of when I travel to Nantucket this winter.

Coton Frais

If you’re not from the Palm Beach area you probably have never heard of Coton Frais. This boutique is a local Palm Beach shop where you can buy french inspired outfits, cotton apparel and unique home items. I picked up a french inspired cheese board, which will be great for entertaining.

JCrew

I’ve been wearing JCrew for years, for good reason. I love their classic, preppy looks. They had adorable plaid scarves, perfect for winter on Nantucket and adorable hair accessories. I also purchased some holiday gifts for Paul here such as a hat, crab printed socks and a flannel button down shirt.

Bath and Body Works

The holidays are my favorite time to stock up on my go-to holiday candles! Bath and Body Works always carries the best holiday scents so I picked up a few candles and some holiday inspired soaps. These will be great for last minute gifts if I need a last minute one.

Mid-day we took a break for lunch at Too Jay’s. This is located on the same property of the outlet mall and is a great place for a casual lunch. We ordered sandwiches and fries – both were great. With quick service, you can’t beat it!

Dinner that night was at BJ’s Brewhouse which is in the same area as the Palm Beach Outlets. We dined on the Chips and Guacamole, Southern Chicken Sandwich and Mediterranean Tacos. I’d highly recommend this spot as it is good for a quick and casual bite. This would also be a great place to watch sports, if that is your thing!

That evening I checked into the Hilton Garden Inn, which is less than a five minute drive from the outlets. Talk about convenient! The rooms at the hotel are spacious, clean and modern. The room also had a large bathroom with a large vanity. The next morning I had a delicious breakfast at the hotel and was re-charged and ready to go for more shopping!

Day two included visits to Saks OFF 5th, JCrew, and Vera Bradley. At Vera Bradley I upgraded my cosmetic cases and at Saks OFF 5th I found a gorgeous magenta pink cashmere sweater.

For lunch we stopped at First Watch. If you’ve never been it’s a casual breakfast/lunch spot with a wide variety of menu items. I actually had breakfast for lunch, and it was a great choice! To start off we had the Donut Holes, which are on there seasonal menu. Then I had the Traditional Breakfast which came with eggs, bacon and a waffle. Needless to say it was great, and I was ready to drive back to Orlando.

The Palm Beach Outlets is a great place to visit if you’re in the South Florida area or a great place to visit if you just want to do some great shopping. Between the variety of shops, restaurants and hotels there is really something for everyone. I can’t wait to come back again!
