Even though I’m a full-grown, adult with no kids of my own, this time of year still feels like back-to-school season for me. In Florida, they start school so early… it’s crazy. All I want to do is sharpen some pencils and go shopping for sweaters and brightly colored notebooks.

And, of course, there are the lunchbox cravings. Brightly colored fruit snacks, nacho cheese chips, cookies—with each passing day, the desire for the snacks of my youth grows stronger and stronger. These snacks weren’t exactly healthy, and they were also filled with a thousand mystery ingredients. Adult me can’t really justify eating unhealthy snacks all the time now so I’ve had to come up with some alternatives. Adulting really is hard.

My go-to now has been making my own snack boxes. I bought a bento style box, and filled it with healthier options. Carrot sticks, an apple, crackers and my favorite: Windstone Farms Portable Packets Creamy Peanut Butter. These portable peanut butter packets are amazing, and perfect for anyone who is on the go. Each box comes with an 8 pack of 1.15oz peanut butter packets. I purchased mine at Walmart, right in the aisle you’d find peanut butter. This is a new product, and let me tell you, I’m a fan!

Whether you need ideas for back-to-school lunches/snacks or traveling these peanut butter packets are wholesome, nutritious, and high quality. Made from only USA grown and harvested peanuts of the highest quality, Windstone Farms creates amazing tasting peanut butter. With 7G of protein per packet, these are a wholesome alternative to unhealthy snacks. Plus, you can eat them on-the-go, no utensils required!

To re-create my snack box I created a tutorial to help you out.
