A Garden Inspired Bridal Shower

I am so excited to share my garden-inspired bridal shower with you all. First, let me start out by saying that I was so completely overwhelmed with love and joy on the day of my shower.

The event was held at the Alfond Inn, in Winter Park and was the perfect location for this type of event. The room already had a rustic, farm-to-table feel with floor to ceiling windows on one side of the space. I filled the room with fresh flowers and it was truly stunning! The invitations were accentuated with pretty shades of pink flowers and the whimsical garden-inspired design set the tone for the event.

We spent the afternoon sipping on different flavored mimosas and delicious brunch food prepared by the hotel. After brunch we played a few of the typical bridal shower games and laughed over the funny responses. My favorite was the He said/She said game. It was fun to listen to everyone’s responses.

After brunch guests could go over to the “flower market”, which was a make your own floral arrangement bar. The bar represented by love for florals, and it also served as a favor station. Guests were able to pick their favorite flowers and make a bouquet to bring home. The station was a hit and everyone was talking about how much they loved the idea.

The floral wall was a DIY project my mother assembled. We rented a boxwood wall from a local party rental store and then filled it in with tons of artificial flowers. It served as a great backdrop for photos.

It felt so wonderful to be surrounded by so much love. I am so thankful for those who came to the shower and helped me celebrate.
