‘Tis the season to celebrate! At the Four Seasons Resort Orlando, boughs of holly are swapped for swaying palm trees illuminated in lights. Last week I was invited to a magical evening of holiday shopping and dining at my favorite resort in Central Florida.
The first stop of the evening was at the wardrobe boutique, located on the main floor at the resort. They carry many popular designer labels like Camilla, Brochu Walker, Veronica Beard, Tory Burch, Golden Goose and exclusive Disney merchandise that is only available at the resort. If you’re a guest at the resort they have a Style Chat service where they will have style sessions inside your room and stock your closet with the best selling pieces of the season.
Next, we headed up to the 17th-floor for an elegant dining experience at Capa. Capa is their signature steakhouse, which serves fresh Florida seafood, Spanish influenced tapas and expertly grilled cuts from a wood-burning grill. It was named among the Best 100 Wine Restaurants in the US by Wine Enthusiast magazine, for good reason. Some of my favorite items from the private dining menu included: Pan Con Tomate, Ensalada de Tomate, Pescado (Chilean Seabass with a Mushroom Broth and Vegtables), and the Patatas (Yukon Gold Potatoes with Brown Butter). Everything was incredibly delicious and the service (as always at any Four Seasons Resort) was fantastic!
We ended the evening with an over the top celebration at Ravello, in their private event space. It may have been over 80 degrees that night in Florida, but the room was filled with snow covered trees, fresh greens, white roses and lots of elegant candle light. Outside under the snow filled sky, we enjoyed holiday gifts, and seasonal desserts.
