With a little help from my friends yesterday at Betty Crocker, I created Brownie Footballs, which like I said earlier are a game changer. We all know TPH has quite the sweet tooth, so this year I decided to add a little more sweetness to my roster. Also, who doesn’t love brownies? After all of that salty, cheesy, crunchy food a little bite of chocolate is typically what everyone needs. One box of Betty Crocker™ fudge brownie mix, a container of Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting and a tube of Betty Crocker™ white decorating icing is all you need to create this sweet game day bite.
Ingredients:
1 box Betty Crocker™ fudge brownie mix
Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box
Football-shaped cookie cutter, 3 1/2×2 inches
1 container Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting
1 Betty Crocker ™ white decorating icing (from 4.25-oz tube)
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line 13×9-inch pan with foil so foil extends about 2 inches over sides of pan. Spray foil with cooking spray. Make brownies as directed on box. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
2. Using foil to lift, remove brownies from pan. With football-shaped cookie cutter, cut brownies into football shapes. Spread frosting on brownies. Pipe on decorating icing to look like football laces.
