If avocado toast or toast in general is the new cupcake, I’m definitely A-OK with that. There are so many different toppings, combinations, flavors, textures you name it! This morning I topped my crusty slice of bread with avocado, cucumber ribbons, lime juice, herb infused olive oil (because regular olive oil is for the birds!), a little dash of red pepper flakes to kick it up a notch and obviously some S and P. It’s a gourmet breakfast or (lunch, dinner, snack) on the go… because lets be honest, who has time to sit down for breakfast and have time leftover to curl your hair? Not many of us! How do you top your toast?
Fresh lime juice
Crushed red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper
Herb infused olive oil
1. In a small bowl mash avocado and lime juice together. Spread on toasted bread. Top bread with cucumber ribbons, a drizzle of herb infused olive oil, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
